Dude, we are notorious for neglecting & turning our backs on those who struggled on our behalf..
We have so many black faces in high places in the Justice dept., incharge of the prison system, Congress members, we've had a Black president etc etc etc., yet none of them tried or worked to free any of the Black Panthers in prison..
Assata Shakur is still in exile in Cuba, thank God for Fidel Castro--RIP.
At least there was activism on behalf of Mumia but it was mostly grassroots and heavily young white rebels.

There are still a couple Black Panthers wasting away in prison...Man, we suck!!!😒😑
