An Aging Revolutionary, Legend, and Imam Facing Death by Neglect. When I saw his picture below I was really shocked, I startled, definitely not the face of the H.Rap Brown I've known for years. Good God!

FREE H.RAP BROWN NOW!! Not fair at all.

PPl are so busy paying attention to Mumia Abu-Jamal and seemed to have forgotten about this great guy who served as the Black Panther Party's minister of justice during a short-lived(6 months)alliance between SNCC and the Black Panther Party.

Dude, we are notorious for neglecting & turning our backs on those who struggled on our behalf..
We have so many black faces in high places in the Justice dept., incharge of the prison system, Congress members, we've had a Black president etc etc etc., yet none of them tried or worked to free any of the Black Panthers in prison..
Assata Shakur is still in exile in Cuba, thank God for Fidel Castro--RIP.
At least there was activism on behalf of Mumia but it was mostly grassroots and heavily young white rebels.

There are still a couple Black Panthers wasting away in prison...Man, we suck!!!😒😑

If Rap Brown dies today many of us will praise his name, but now we ain't doing shit to help him. Sad.

Indeed, some Blacks out there suck. Its like they don't deserve folks like H.Rap Brown who sacrificed his freedom for them. Where is Krystal Muhammad or Malik Zulu Shabazz?? They should be marching day in and day out on behalf of H.Rap Brown until someone sets him free. This is how Huey Newton was set free after he was jailed in 1967 for clashing with that police officer. The Panthers(man&women) were daily protesting outside San Quentin prison in California until he was freed.

The New Black panther party sucks big time.

I can't believe H.Rap Brown(photo below) is even still alive today. He deserves some support. Shame. Props to him...

H. Rap Brown’s situation is a result of a de facto gag order that has suppressed information about him. It’s tantamount to all this history we have on LLC, but the media and schools purposely overlook it.

Thanks for the reminder, Les. I've totally forgot that H.Rap Brown's reason for being sentenced to prison for life was his fatal shooting of two Georgia sheriff's deputies in 2000. I thought he was arrested in late 60s-70s for his activism.
