Les, just the title of your "The Awakening of Khufu" book is a real "groove Thang". A good title can accurately reflect the book's content, genre, and tone,.. and can significantly influence whether someone chooses to read it or not.
I wonder what will you do next after you're done with the billion-dollar screenplay? Previous Message
Hey, nice "Groove Thang," TheOne! I've been missing in action, forumites, because I'm in the midst of writing a billion-dollar screenplay. I'm trying to complete this 'thang. The Awakening of Khufu is going to be a great motion picture.
Institutionalizing the pharaohs, Mesopotamia, the Minoans, etc., expands the culture the youth can draw from.
Yes, "It's a Groove Thang." Previous Message
These were the times I was raving to this song(groove thang) in Roxbury(Boston) btw, sir, Roxbury was the Boston neighborhood where MalcolmX moved to in order to live with his sister Ella Collins in early 40s. Malcom was a real "G" back then in Roxbury. LOL, anyway, I enjoyed the place, except the fights that would occasionally take place at the parties.
Yea, was thinking about posting "Hey Mr DJ" song but since I'm the only great DJ on earth and the song wasn't about me, I simply refused to post it . I prefer the "groove thang", sir. A conscious and uplifting song. Previous Message
Awesome selection!
I was big on Zhane!
At that time conscious and uplifting music & lyrics was a big thing!
That was around the time Queen Latifah was Afrocentric as hell!
Then Hollywood & the music industry stepped in and Gangsta Rap was prioritized!
It's amazing to me how the industry changed someone like Queen Latifah to what she is right now--from Afrocentrism to milk toast & mayonnaise😔
😲😆🤣..i'm surprise you didn't select 'Hey, Mr DJ' instead.
