LOL, "Who is Israel fighting"?? Israel is fighting innocent women, children and babies. The thing is unlike Hamas Israel is holding thousands of Palestinian prisoners, including children, and on top of that the IDF is destroying Gaza and committing a genocide everyday on the ground. Hamas is not fighting back nor defending the Gazaouis on the ground(no guerilla warfare) thats why it really looks like they have deserted despite the fact Hamas still hold Israeli hostages. Amen!!
If Hamas could stage such a massive attack on Oct 7th I don't understand why they can't fight on Gaza's soil? Face off against the Israeli soldiers! Hey, I'm not talking about the Israeli aerial strikes, I'm talking about the IDF walking on the ground. As far as I see they are safe!!! Where is Hamas?

And don't conflate Hamas fighters with the political arm of Hamas - they are separate entities - even if Israel refuses to make that distinction.
Its just like the IRA & the ANC had fighters and politicos doing diplomatic work during negotiations etc.
Plus, who do you think are holding the Israeli hostages? And if Hamas deserted, who is Israel fighting, EH?
In other words, the idea of a Hamas desertion is an Israeli myth - its propaganda and a talking point.
Yes, there are different eyes, but there's only one reality on the ground: ISRAEL IS COMMITTING A GENOCIDE IN GAZA, not Hamas, not Arabs, not ancient Egyptian civilizations etc.
