A TRUE CIVIL RIGHTS GIANT IS NO MORE..

Claudette Colvin is with the Good Lord right now..
She's transited to the other realm at the age of 86 yrs old..
She was the first to NOT GIVE UP HER SEAT ON THE BUSS IN MONTGOMERY IN 1955.
She was only 15-yrs old at the time..
That was before Rosa Parkss in 1955.

Claudette was really the one to spark the Civil Rights movement, taking nothing from Rosa Parks..
BUT, some of the Civil Rights leaders at the time felt Claudette didn't have enough of a "respectable" background for the spotlight..
PLUS, she was dark-skinned...Oh Lawwwd
