I've stumbled upon him a long time ago when I was searching and focusing on "Marxism". His name just come up by chance. Can't believe his teaching career was ended simply because he protested against the Vietnam war. He obviously scared Kris who perceived him as a dangerous communist.

We've lost one of the most insightful intellectuals EVAR!

Scholar Michael Parenti is no longer among us..
He's gone to join other revolutionary/socialist/Marxist/democratic intellectuals in heaven..
He was 92 yrs old.

Parenting wrote a book on Julius Caesar which completely changed my mind & outlook on who Julius Caesar was: "The Assassination of Julius Caesar: A People's History of Ancient Rome."
Great stuff!
