I "really hope" Jesse in this 1979 photo below was visiting the Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews in Israel who have historically faced significant socioeconomic disparities, discrimination, and cultural marginalization by the dominant "Ashkenazi" establishment, particularly upon their arrival to Israel in the 1950s-70s.
