It's a sad day in this house. I did some volunteer work on his 1988 presidential campaign. He would have made a great president, far better than the first guy elected from Chicago. He did not even invite him on the stage of his victory speech the day after winning. I spotted him alone, with rain beating down on him in the middle of the crowd. He should have been the first guest invited by Obama to the Oval Office.

Just heard it from the British lady, I was shocked but not surprised after seeing Jesse's health condition a few months ago.

I remember theone criticizing Jesse, saying that he was jealous of MLK or something of that sort, however some years back he backtracked on that cause there was no evidence. Anyway I'm glad theone changed his mind on Jesse because as being Almighty I was almost going to remove the entire North African region and throw it in the ocean. I'm so happy I kept my cool.

I "really hope" Jesse in this 1979 photo below was visiting the Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews in Israel who have historically faced significant socioeconomic disparities, discrimination, and cultural marginalization by the dominant "Ashkenazi" establishment, particularly upon their arrival to Israel in the 1950s-70s.

If this photo is not the case, then what was Jesse doing with the oppressor?? LOL

Black America's struggle has been one of enlightenment, not the killing of others as is generally seen around the world.

We have chosen non-violence and peace because we are derived from an old culture, which realizes that the killing of people begets killing.

All we want is a free hand in educating our people and directing the planet towards its divine destiny.

Hmmmm, I wonder how the ebb and flow of the Jewish narrative was like when the war exploded between Jewish and Arab communities in the 1948 civil war in Palestine.

Now lets say Jesse Jackson went to Israel in 1979 in order to bring unity and peace between Jews and Palestinians. Well, I can guarantee you that his mission has unfortunately failed.

If my memory serves me correctly, Jesse's trip in 79 was made primarily for Palestinian human rights. He embraced Yassir Arafat and caught hell for it. The Israeli leader at the time, Menachim Begin, refused to meet with him.
