Like all ethnic groups scattered throughout the world, the Palestinians have diverse political opinion.

Having some expertise on El Salvador from my 10 years of activism in a group here in town, The Central America Solidarity Coalition, allow me my input.

Theone, there are progressive Palestinians in El Salvador. I have personally interacted with them and helped schedule speaking events for them throughout the Midwest. Many were part of the FMLN (Faribundo Marti Liberation Front.)

I was surprised when one gentleman, when I told him of a restaurant I wanted to take him to while in town served Central American Food, he asked if there were any good Middle Eastern places in Milwaukee. LOL!!!
