Black Pete was mostly a big deal in the Netherlands, Les. The Black Dutch/community in the Netherlands took it seriously, there was a long-standing cultural battle pitting tradition against anti-racism activist. We're talking about a good 15 years fight and the Dutch anti-blackface group declared victory.
As for the LLC information I've tried to diffuse it in Belgium and England with some folks I knew in times past but unfortunately they never posted anything. Previous Message
