And you know where that trend started? In some Black comedy movies, black fictional books, and among some Black intellectuals/website writers.
And you know what was even more damnable? Some of the Black intellectuals/writers ridiculing Afrocentrists as "Hotep brothas", were THE VERY ONES writing essays explaining how the term 'nigga' had become a 'term of endearment' among our young - thus justifying that usage. How twisted is that?
So yes, just think of the strange & disturbing trend of 'nigga' being a term of endearment and Hotep Brothas being an insult, a ridicule etc. Man, some of us are really messed up!
