He should have done like Muhammad Ali had done, Ali is the one you can trust, he refused to be inducted into the U.S. Army at a military station, citing his Muslim faith and declaring himself a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War, and I'm sure he had feelings for the Palestinians too and all the oppressed people, Ali refused it in a time when Maestro was proudly flying his Kris's "air police" plane. Amen. LOL!!
FYI in case you don't know, America's first national institution is the U.S army. It doesn't matter what you do in the U.S army or what branch you're in, the blood of the innocent is on your hands too, even if you're stationed in dining facilities. If you work for "Al Capone" then you're just as guilty as Al Capone himself.
