There were some awesome games during the world cup with the Cape Verde team being the story of the tournament. No one predicted that a small African country with less than a quarter the population of Jamaica would qualify for the World Cup, muchless make it to the knock out stage and almost beat the defending champions Argentina - they lost in overtime to Messi and his boys 3--2. UNBELIEVABLE!

STILL, FIFA president Gianni Infantino MUST GO!
He & Trump attempted to fix the tournament because they wanted Argentina to win, but thankfully Spain defeated them in the finals.
I could never support Argentina - even though I like Lionel Messi - because of their appalling racist history.
I'm also not big on Spain because currently they're one of the most anti-black countries in Europe, but their gov't is very progressive, so we'll see.

LOL.. I watched every single game in real time or repeat. I always arrange my life around the World Cup.

Btw, props to MOrocco... very very impressive style of football/soccer.
France & Mbappe did well but screwed up against Spain, even as Mbappe won the Golden Boot trophy for the tournament. Props to him!!
