I just saw a report on CNN about the ban moments before reading your post..
And I get your point about his mentor, Roy Cohn, but to me this feels much more threatening than "there is no such thing as bad press."
The world is probably more unstable and probably a more precarious place than during the Red scare.. or is it?

I mean, if there are problems during the midterm voting, shit like what happened during the Jan.6 madness could be worse, with upheaval mostly from the left this time.
Maybe i'm reading too much stuff and getting paranoid, but we'll see.
