...what da hell just happened in my beloved France?

How could 3 guys break into the Louvre and steal some of the world's most priceless jewels IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES?
And it happened IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!
WITH PEOPLE IN THE MUSEUM!
AND THEY ESCAPED ON MOTORCYCLES!
ALL WITHIN 10 MINUTES!
WITH GUARDS PRESENT!
AND THEY STOLE THE JEWELS & TREASURES I GAVE TO MY WIVES!
SACRE BLEU!!!!!!!!!!!

Signed: i'm suspicious! Why has Kris Columbus disappeared? Why hasn't Mr TheOne posted about this here, since that's his field of expertise?...and dammmittt, the guards had to have been North AFricans, particularly Moroccans....monsieur napolean

Ha-ha-, just heard about it on TV, not even 10 minutes ago. Again you beat me to it.

Tell you what, this is stunning as hell,..in less than 10 minutes in broad daylight, its mind boggling. These ppl who done that are super professionals and in my opinion they will never get caught. Similar embezzlement happened in Brussels some years ago where some real expensive art painting disappeared. Nobody got caught yet to this day.

If you wrote that scene as part of a movie script, no one would buy it!
You mean in 10 mins, in the presence of museum goers, with guards all over the place, they entered the Louvre, started cutting out glass cases with loud metal chainsaws, bag the jewelry, threw their equipment on the floor, run outside, get on motorcylces AND SIMPLY DISAPPEARED/ESCAPED? WTF?!!

What about all the high-tech surveillance equipment? Did they all malfunction at the same time?

..and they did all that shit without waving a gun or any kind of weapon? Hell NOOOOO

Felt the same way about that high-tech security barrier dividing the Gaza Strip from Southern Israel. I am still wondering how could this very tiny and powerless group of men crossed through Israel's most complex border security systems. Even a "fly" won't go there unnoticed.

"Who let the dogs in", should be a new song.
