Wag the Dog? Could that be the reason? Won't this cover up Trump's incompetency? Further, he now wants to reestablish the Monroe Doctrine. LOL!! This coupled with his complete balls out racist remarks on Somalians makes it crystal clear we are in full blown authoritarianism. Plus, that tanker full of owl has to be worth a ton of money. btw, Trump has publicly announced he's gonna keep the tanker's oil...No surprise here!

I think this administration is eyeing a ripple effect to the Panama Canal. Columbia is between
Venuzuela and the Canal. Remember, Trump talked about taking the Panama Canal early following the election.

Congress will impeach him, though, if the voters come out strong for the mid terms.
