that all the money collected (thru taxes), with the exception of special bonds, goes up the chain to the Feds. Then it is dispersed. Often most of it remains at the fed level. I think that may encompass the 'fraud' we keep hearing about that DOGE is finding. Who knows. BUT - I do believe local control is always better.
