..Left home at 20 till 6 - we were up at 4 - arrived at 20 till 7. Sat in a little pre-surgery cubical for over 2 and a half hours, then the procedure took less than 50 minutes. Surgeon came by to tell me that she was out and that she was doing well. For the next 2 and a half hours I heard nothing.

Finally a nurse appeared to tell me they were taking her to a room and they wanted to keep her overnight for observation. Had to leave and take care of pets, etc so I was home about 4.

Tomorrow I will be picking her up pretty early.
