I object to the cost of the parade when we are supposed to be tightening our belts. Honoring the military is one thing, but this was about ego.

As for the rest of your diatrab:

1. Ice is way over stepping and being sloppy. They need to focus on the criminal element, not just snatching people (some of whom have a right to be here) to meet a quota. They need ID, warrants and to take off those maks so we can identify those who are breking the law.

2. Protest is a right and a responsibility. It is obvious that a LOT of people are unhappy with the administration and feel their voices needed to be heard. Civil unrest is nothing new (1960s)

3. Felonous actions by politicians. GIVE ME A BREAK. That is not just a democrat problem it's a problem with our entire system.

4. You do remember that republicans voted down a border bill aimed at immigration issues? If not, your memory is short.

5. There are also reforms needed in our path to citizenship. It can cost over 10,000 to get through each step. People fleeing for their life don't have that kind of money.

6. I want to see the separation of powers protected. Many actions have been aimed at giving the President more power that he is supposed to have in running the government and creating laws.

7. DOGE is a farce. It's so badly handled, makes claims that prove wrong, and after they fire people they suddenly discover, OOPS... and try to rehire them.

So you can stand on your street corner and shout all you wish, but this country has problems on BOTH SIDES of the asile and until we look at those, we remain lost.
