I am learning by far more about Charlie now then I ever knew when he was here. I did not follow his show - and although I was aware of TPUSA and had a favorable opinion of it - I did not ever attend an event. It is the videos of him as a highschool student through adulthood - he was consistent.

As most of us have experienced, there are stages of grief to be gotten through - and each individual will process it in their own unique way. This is so sad for the country - not only the loss of Charlie - but that we let issues that should have been nipped in the bud long ago drive us to a place where any in this country can applaud an assassination.

This country has been changing dramatically since 9/11. In my opinion, there is a very active element that is doing everything it can to destroy our form of government (a republic with a democratic form of government). We could get into the religious elements we are all aware of - but I think this is something coming from a different direction. Anyway - I am very sad about Charlie.
