and it is not good.

But many don’t know that God is in charge and that many unseen unreported uncared about things are happening, too, things that glorify Him, things that bring hope to many, and things that mean His will is being done.

Trouble is we often care more about our will, about temporal things, about the here and now only. I’d feel that way, too, if the time I spent and company I kept was just on temporal issues. They are not unimportant, but they are not the most important.

Belief that is based on the hope we have in the God who made us
offers peace beyond understanding. When I forget that, I, too feel uncomfortable.
