I have an aunt who traced our genealogy seven (or was it eight) generations back on my father’s side to Cornelius Wilson an orphan boy drummer at Valley Forge in George Washington’s army.
That makes him my great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather. My grandson plays the drums.
