Save the mirrors and instruments, the expensive parts, and parts that take years to fabricate. Mount them to a proper frame, inside a proper protective enclosure. And then launch it. Or assemble it in space if you have to. I wouldn't waste all that hardware, launching it "as is", because it would be a fluke if it lasted more than 24 hours in space.
