Geoff, mailing can be expensive to collect but don't buy the pottery with blue decoration which came out after the late 50s. It is not valuable. Ringtons used to give mailing pottery away with packets of tea. My dad smashed up my grandmother's after she died and said it was rubbish! He smashed a fortune to pieces! Happy collecting. There is a book about mailing. They also had a factory in Newcastle near Ouseburn.
