Why did Starmer pretend that he had a tough childhood like a lot of British people had when dads were out of work etc. He has a reputation for constantly telling lies & cant lie straight in bed.

It shows how stupid he is because lies like that can easily be disputed by people who knew the family.For instance if I said I went to Grammar School,I'd be found out immediately.
Surely Labour voters must get embarrassed having him as the Leader and choosing Angela Rayner who left school without any qualifications as Deputy PM.
