Dear Norman, you are a man of some seventy odd years I believe so please don't be so naïve as to fall for this clap-trap. My own father had parallels with Mr. Starmer Senior in as much as he was sometimes employed and often self-employed when there was a downturn in employment which was a common feature of north-east life at the time. My mother worked most of her life too and so we identified as working class.
