Yes Sheila you are right, Norman was a councellor,
the Laffey family lived above us for many years in Glen Street, Mr and Mrs Laffey, Victor, Norman, Nellie and sid, Victor died a terrible tragedy just after the war, I believe he was testing a plane that crashed, I was very young at the time, but remember going to the cemetery with Nellie on a Sunday morning to put flowers on Victors grave. I do know that people used to visit, could have been the Laffey's from Cuthbert Street.
