not too many Abel's left in Jarrow these days. My sister and I both live in different parts of Kent, and my brothers are in Berkshire and Australia.

Bill had two sons, Bill junior (who was the last Abel pork butcher in Jarrow) and Raymond. Both are now sadly no longer with us. It's possible Bill's children are still in Jarrow, but I don't know as we're not in contact.
