As you say Bob making it less attractive to come to the UK would, to my mind, help immensely, but this Government don’t seem to want to do that so we continue to spend money like there is no tomorrow.

The other thing how will they decide who is genuine and have family in the UK if the applicants have destroyed their documents, I can’t help feeling as I type this that there are already gangs at work arranging with migrants, already settled here, to be ready to say that Mohamed currently in Calais is their brother, father, cousin or whoever, strenuous tests should be undertaken but, knowing our mealy mouthed government they just won other.
