Mac I agree. I have been studying on and off about Newcastle for 68 yrs and I'm still learning. I started with a visit to the keep battlements to do some train spotting with the late Ed Nesbitt and curiosity about the keep became a lifetime pastime! Since retirement, and moving to Liverpool, the building and architecture of churches and cathedrals keeps me busy. However, there are lots of people on this board who can do better than myself and I have learned so much from it..
