Today I read a lady saying her granddaughter rented a house in Hampshire over a year ago. Was settled and really making it her home. She has had a letter from her Landlord telling her she must vacate by October. The local council are renting it on a five year contract with better rent payments, so the property can be used to house asylum seekers instead of putting them in Hotels. It seems very unfair, but also will mean our council tax will be used and that saves the government costly Hotels for them. No wonder they will let the councils charge a higher local tax next year.
