Balanced for protection and performance. Pages will load normally.
Firefox blocks the following:
Social media trackers
Cross-site cookies in all windows
Tracking content in Private Windows
Cryptominers
Fingerprinters
There are stricter protocols which can be used at the touch of a button, although the possibility exists that doing that may reduce functionality on some websites.
In addition adblockers can be free. I use Adblock plus which is free, although occasionally it nudges me to make a donation. It is set up as an extension in firefox, and It is pretty effective at blocking ads.
