Sheila, In Genealogy, it's easy to know where to start....start with YOU...simples!

You have 2 parents, and each of them have 2 parents, that makes four, and each of them have 2 parents, so that's eight more...etc...

But more importantly, decide which line you want to trace, and why....

Take small steps, and only believe the evidence, NOT assumptions....

There are clearly some on here who would advise you, and with so many on-line resources & records, you'd be surprised what you may uncover....

I started mine back in 1985..pre internet....LOTS of trips to County record offices, Kew Record office, cemeteries, etc.... great fun !!!!
