Please be aware that MP's cannot claim for mortgage expenses for properties they buy and therefore the concept of returning them to Government ownership cannot happen. They do however get allowances for properties in London and in their constituency.
Where they rent a property in London or the constituency the ownership reverts to the landlord when the MP decamps.
So as much as I loathe the current bunch of hypocrites and especially the lovely deputy PM, that is the way it is!
