I am interested in the Drill Hall on Ellison/ William St. corner.

I know a little about it but not a lot and don’t remember even seeing it but must have passed it on my way to work at Palmers and going to the newsagents on the Lyon St. corner.

Any photos or description of it. What was inside it and did say the Scouts or others use it.

My Grandfather would have gone there 1904 to 1908 a Sapper.

Great Uncle John some years around 1911 he was Artillery.

The only place like a Drill Hall that I was ever in was the Scout hut or hall at St. John’s part of the Ellison Hall Stables.
