I have one suit bought for my son’s wedding on 2003, think it still JUST fits. Got a tie and shirt to go with it ( I think).
Yes I have a black tie.
I usually wear cargo pants for the pockets for phone or cargo shorts. Usually with Tee shirts.
The only time that I feel dressed is putting on sort of dress trousers and a better quality shirt. Then problem is phone!
Regretfully I no longer go to pubs etc. unless I have too. That’s because I cannot stand the noise and the acoustics play havoc with hearing aids.
I do miss going to restaurants but again my hearing problem.
There is one pub on the A59 going towards Skipton from Harrogate was called the Lord Nelson. It closed a few years ago and was refurbished. Now called The Nelson Inn.
It must be very good as car park usually very full at both lunchtime and evening. Car park looks as if it could take 80+ cars. I think its location, size and prices might make it fine for gatherings both business and clubs etc.
We should try it sometime it may be OK for me hearing wise.
Other pubs that are out of town with good parking seem to do well. The Lakeside Inn down past the old Coke works on Mill Lane is a similar pub.
However where there may be a few more like Lakeside near Hebburn, around Harrogate there are maybe 10 and pubs and restaurants in Harrogate too many to count.
