It was not me since I tend not to contribute to anything that relates to politics- I simply (jokingly) posted a photo of my old ID card with a smiling emoji.
However, I will make a comment on politicians.
Why do they want to be politicians.? My opinion is that the majority are in it for money, power and influence.
Examples of two exceptions are Norman Tebbitt and Dennis Skinner who I believe were both men of principle.
Furthermore, I do believe in the use of ID cards - it seems ok in some other countries. I also believe that the id cards should have fingerprint and dna data on them and that fingerprints are recorded for anyone entering the country.
Now, that’s the blue touch paper lit.
