I wonder if one of the reasons is that there may be many like me who don't know anyone personally who writes on the Board and therefore my interest is negligible unless a place or person I have previously been associated with merits a mention. This is not to denigrate the Board, but simply a truism about me.
I concentrate on my life here in Herefordshire, which, I suspect, would be of little or no interest or relevance to where I was brought up as a youngster.
Nevertheless, I enjoy my infrequent wanders onto the Board and wish everyone well.
