Yesterday I received a call on my landline phone. I answered because I have had problems with it for months. (Long story) Apparently from British Telecom. However, it did take me a while to realise that it could possibly be a scam. Very cultured voices of two different people, very technically presented and seemingly very knowledgeable. Subject was a very serious problem with the internet which had compromised my internet link and had to be fixed urgently etc etc I listened for a while challenging them frequently. They would NOT be put off so when I suspected they were after my banking details I immediately terminated the call. BE AWARE AS YOU COULD BE NEXT.
