The pilot cutter in the picture is the Alert built in 1949 at Robson's, South Shields and sold in September 1961. The vessel is the Johan Jeansson of Kalmarsund Steamship Co., Kalmar, Sweden. She was built in 1930 by Helsingborgs Varfs, Helsingborg. In 1960 she became Johan for Oy Johanship Ab, Vasa and from 1963 was used as a grain storage barge.
She was broken up in Hamina in 1985.
