I find it amazing that in this day and age with so much technology available it seems that weather forecasting is never accurate.

I have a dental appointment in Gloucester scheduled for the morning of 5th January, this morning I checked the weather forecast for my area for that day at the same time I checked the weather forecast for Gloucester, both said snow for long periods of time, this would mean treacherous driving conditions especially on the side roads so I cancelled the appointment. Earlier this evening I was checking the forecast for later this week then discovered that the weather has had a complete U-turn for the 5th January and is now showing bright sunshine, how can it change so much in the space of about 6 hours, I may as well hang a piece of seaweed outside to get a proper forecast - needless to say I now have to contact the dental laboratory and say I will have to monitor the situation nearer the time.??
