My first 9 yrs of life from baby to 9yrs old in 1953 was living in a upstairs Flat 14 Lyon St about 50 yards from that Co-op at 29 & 30.
I've told this piece of our history before but as we have new visitors to this Forum here it is again

In WW2 a German Bomb landed in the middle of the street infront of the Co-op causing a 15ft crater but thankfully it didnt explode. It didnt even break the Co-op's windows.
