Some foundations now are called floating bed or raft. They are thick reinforced concrete that floats on soft earth. In the USA and Japan, they build skyscrapers on them where they withstand earthquakes etc. Hard to believe but sometimes the founds float on a bed of oil !As for moving congregations to St Cuthberts I somehow can't see it Brian as it's fair walk!
