That's the Ferry Landing on this side of the Ship at the bottom of Ellison St with the Cranes of Hawthorn Leslies as a backdrop. Ship building is virtually finished on the River Tyne nowadays so thankfully there are always photos to show younger folk what a busy river our River Tyne used to be.
