Stan, it can be a nightmare if your going to use a drone commercially. You need permission from the CAA, take tests and be insured.
You may get around this if your drone is under 250g.

You can fly drones and model aircraft that are below 250g, or UK0, UK1 or C0 class in residential, recreational, commercial and industrial areas.

According to the CAA, you may fly a drone over private property as long as these rules are followed: Drones must be flown below 400 feet altitude. You must keep the drone within visual line of sight.

I got into drones back in 2014, buying the likes of the Syma's then even built my own using KK2.1 flight controllers. Programming I found difficult so went back to buying them. The mistake I made was not selling my old ones on. I've kept them all. Difficult selling them on now, I cannot get batteries for many anymore, so they have just become dust collectors.
