I was born and lived in Broughton Road which is the road to the right of the Town Hall. The area to the rear of the Town Hall was allotments. The church to the right is Westoe Road Baptist which I went to for many years. The church behind the allotments is St. Johns. There appears to be a horse and cart in Broughton Road, I can remember the CO-OP used them for deliveries.
