Whilst I have an iPhone, not the latest model I hasten to add, I also have an iPad and a desktop computer, I really don’t see why I have to faff about trying to get information that should be available manually.
It really is a nightmare for older people, a neighbour of mine, who is about 2 years older than me doesn’t have an iPhone he only has a bog standard mobile phone that receives calls and text messages, he has an iPad but can’t handle apps, he recently had a procedure at the local hospital, he then received a text message advising him that he can read the follow up letter by going into the NHS app which he hasn’t got. He spent ages trying to get through to the relevant department at the hospital to ask for a hard copy of the letter, the person he spoke to was quite dismissive but eventually agreed to send out a copy of the letter. Why can’t hospitals or whoever try to be helpful to the elderly?
