Mac, we had ours changed last year. You get information through the post what to do before they change over. My friend did ours and it only took a few minutes. I used the same phone and number. It only it needs to be plugged into an electric socket. We use an extension lead as my internet is plug in also. Lots of my friends and neighbours have got rid of their land line,but my hearing is not good and my land line phone is great for better sound. I have a mobile, but only use it when I need to. I’m sure you will find it will be ok. I should add my contact for the internet is BT, but a friend who had EE could still keep her original number.
