I was shocked to see the government proposing to stop the unemployed from smoking and drinking and even gambling. Whilst the fat cats sit ripping off money from the public, they have no idea of the pressure unemployment brings with it. Forty years ago, I spent 2 years unemployed and have got the tee-shirt. Ok, benefits should not be spent on these items and I have seen queues outside the free meals and many puffing their heads off. However, is this not taking away people's rights? I expect many will agree there's 2 sides to this..
