Memories of the Quarry

Here's my latest blog post about the Hebburn / Pelaw Quarry off Mill Lane, now a Nature Reserve.

As always, it comes with a plea for any information, memories or photos that you might have. For example, do you know when exactly Jones' Brickyard closed, or when work began on the reclamation to make the nature reserve?
